Six pomegranates huddle together on a tile whose background glaze is nearly black with bronze undertones and accents. The form is press-molded, and embellished with hand-carving. The pomegranates are a combination of subtle underglaze colors with shiny red-glazed seeds.

This tile has a smooth backing—installation, if desired, must be done with a strong adhesive.

The shadowbox frames have plexiglass, which can be removed, if a more “tactile” presentation is preferred. Framed tiles have heavy-duty removable velcro strips attaching them to the frame back; tiles can easily be removed for re-framing/installation.
